Also on ECW on Sci-Fi, Evan Bourne continued his winning streak, defeating James Curtis as Chavo Guerrero and Bam Neely watched ringside. Fresh off a victory over Guerrero last week, the young, high-flying Bourne is quickly making a name for himself on the ECW scene. As part of Long’s New Superstar Initiative, Bourne is determined to impact the Land of the Extreme. After defeating Curtis, Guerrero and Neely rushed the ECW ring, attempting to attack Bourne, but the quick Superstar escaped to have the last laugh. Will anyone be able to stop Bourne?

Digitals will be posted sometime tomorrow.

...courtesy of Gerweck.net:

Match #6: Afa Jr. defeated Evan Bourne. This... THIS was FUN. Evan Bourne got a huge pop coming out. Some light "Sydal" chants. Evan Bourne's ability to take bumps is phenomenal. Not since the late Curt Hennig have I seen a guy take bumps as nicely as he does and not get himself hurt. It's almost like his body is made of rubber. This match was the classic monster heel versus geeky high-flying babyface formula. Afa Jr has the exact same maneurisms, spots, transitions, and ring-gear as Umaga, minus the phony tattoos. It seems like all Samoans are generic in WWE. He beat on Bourne for most of this with the crowd getting behind him. He does a few nice punches and kicks and sets Afa up for the Shooting Sydal Press, but misses. Afa takes the advantage and hits a NASTY finisher which I can only describe as an "inverted F-5". Basically, he picked up in F-5 position and spun him until he dropped face first to the ground, facing AWAY from Afa. Tough to describe, but it was a nice move I hadn't seen before. He got the pin with it.

Having been there myself, it never ceases to amaze me the level of talent that Evan possesses. And while I'm not particularly a fan of Afa Jr., these two put on an amazing match together. Can't wait to see what happens at the next TV tapings.

Evan Bourne defeats Chavo Guerrero

Ever since his ECW debut last month, Evan Bourne has been turning the heads of our fans and Superstars alike. In perhaps his toughest challenge yet, the young upstart took on former ECW Champion Chavo Guerrero. Despite Guerrero’s ring savvy and experience, Bourne was able to stun the former champion with a Shooting Star Press from the top rope, giving him the victory.

Finally, Evan Bourne, another ECW Superstar looking to make a name for himself, picked up a win. Bourne faced Nunzio on Tuesday night, and the young high-flyer proved he wasn’t bothered by a recent loss to Mike Knox. Bourne, who says he defies the odds by defying gravity, rekindled his confidence after defeating Nunzio with a soaring shooting star. What’s next for this newcomer in the Land of the Extreme?
